Toxicologist

What you will do

in Toxicology, Computational Toxicology or a related field Experience in the planning, design and critical interpretation of toxicology studies Excellent foundation in hazard identification and human health risk assessment principles Familiarity with industry toxicity testing standards ( OECD Test Guidelines) and global chemical regulations Familiarity with computational tools and new approach methodologies to characterize chemical risks Excellent project management and communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate toxicological data and methodologies to non-scientists Ability to work independently, embrace change, and collaborate with individuals with diverse backgrounds and scientific disciplines Ability to accommodate periodic domestic and international travel The successful candidate is not required to have experience across all areas, but must have the interest and take initiative to learn and develop

About you

Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate with other scientists to produce impactful work products A passion for advancing the discipline of applied toxicology Demonstrated experience or interest to gown capability in computational tools and new approach methodologies to predict hazards / risk for chemicals and/or chemical mixtures ( DEREK Nexus, TIMES-SS, OECD Toolbox, Benchmark Dose Software or similar computer programs and databases) Experience or interest to grow capability in computer programming using open-source tools ( R, Python) Familiarity with data analytics, informatics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and statistical approaches to assess toxicity Experienced hires encouraged to apply
