We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international High school based in Chengdu’s High-Tech Zone. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in mid-August 2024.
Job description
- Take responsibility for teaching A-level science subject (chemistry or biology)
- Develop weekly teaching plans and provide summaries of the previous week's teaching activities
- Thoroughly prepare lessons before each class and promptly correct homework assignments after class
- Serve as an academic tutor for a designated group of students
- Participate in invigilation, extracurricular activities (ECA), weekend events, and evening self-study sessions as required by the school
- Contribute to marketing promotions and school open day activities, which may involve conducting demonstration classes
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above with related subject
- Good communication skills with 16-18 years old students
- Able to deliver the class in fluent English
- At least 2 years’ experience in teaching mathematics
- Familiar with British A-level curriculum
