Job Description

Essential responsibilities and duties.
In the framework of the PLTE team (product line technology engineering) of Faurecia Interior System Business Group (FIS), and
closely cooperating with process experts ( PLTE-IPEX-DT-OPERATIONS), the AUTOMATION & Robotics leader is in charge of:
· You are responsible to create/update a shelve of possible automation solutions.
· You are responsible to share this information with the plants, proposing these solutions to improve the benefit of the programs.
· You are responsible to support development programs, to define Automation Solutions to be applied during Program serial
life looking for the best option economically and process wise following the strategy of the BG.
· You are responsible to support Acquisitions teams, to define potential Automation Solutions and provide estimations related
to CT and Costs.
· You are responsible to check the feasibility of automation solutions, identify weak points and anticipate solutions.
· You analyze the lines in the plants and future programs, in order to propose standard Automation solutions.
· You collect ideas, lesson learnt, proposals from plants/programs, share them to the BG in order to create and improve the
standards.
· Interface with the Automation team in FIS BG, sharing best practices, aligning deployments of new systems.
· Create a network of specialist of your expertise. The main missions of the role are:
· Analyze and improve automation solutions from the plants/programs.
· Follow up the development process of automation solutions.
· Ensure projects launched internally are on time and following the targets.
· Be supported by the technical colleagues in terms of PLC, robots, vision…
· Create or identify a worldwide network for automation specialist in each region / plant.
· Analyze each automation proposal, helping the interested person to perform the correct calculations / estimations of the key
indicators in the production process.
· Definition of the best quality vs cost solution to apply in the plants / programs.
· Encourage the plant/programs to follow/participate in the creation of the standards.
· Development trainings and roadmaps per technology to be applied in our industrial sites.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
o Minimum education level: Graduated specialized in automation, electrical, maintenance with capabilities in commercial /
selling, business leader.
Experience :
o 3 to 5 years experience in automation department or manufacturing engineering department or automation.
Skills and competencies
o Robot programming, PLC programming basics.
o Able to work in a technical environment ( Automation and IT)
o Machine normative for CE certificate.
o Good capacity to work in matrix organization
o Project management skills.
o Autonomous and rigor in the work
o Team work spirit is essential.
o Fluent in English is mandatory; other languages will be taken into account.
o Frequent travels abroad.
