In order to fulfil Mercedes-Benz' Battery demand, support and drive the challenging ramp up phase on-site, the MB “Task Force” has been established.

For the overall success, the ramp up according to the planned battery demand is crucial. Therefore we are searching a project management expert to support our task force Team at supplier.

The project management team within the task force covers topics and functions such as project lead and stakeholder management. In order to achieve the overall project targets, the role is essential to ensure steering the project, tracking the progress within the different defined work packages (e.g. operations, planning, QM), execution of strategy and planning and giving transparency to stakeholders/ management about the project status. The required alignment activities are not only limited to MB's internal stakeholders but also to stakeholder/ business partners from supplier.

1. Strategy and management

Assist with developing a strategy for the overarching organizational unit and, building on this, develop and agree strategies for implementation, advance your own role and ensure implementation. Steer your own role on the basis of targets and key performance indicators and safeguard reporting capacity in partnership with the functional areas.

2. Project Management Task Force / Workpackage steering

Establish and steer crossfunctional project teams DGRC/ BBAC/ Supplier to coordinate all relevant task force activities. Ensure planning and controlling of project figures. Steer work package activities within task force.

3. Task Force Committees/ Meeting Management

Coordinating of Task Force Level 1 meeting and JPS (Joint Project Steering) meeting concerning meeting management. Coordinating of regular committees within the task force (internal/ external)

Qualifikationen

Education

• Graduated/ certified engineer Economics, mechanical engineering Automotive Engineering, technical orientated Business Administration or similar

• Fluent English skills, German language skills is a plus

Experience

• Long-term experience in different areas (e.g. project management, QM, production)

• Experience in cooperation projects/ intercultural competence China

Specific Knowledge

• High motivation and flexibility combined with a high ability to work independently

• Good organization skills and structured working function

• Strong background in project coordination and management

• Proficient knowledge in MS-Office especially in PPT and Excel

• Intercultural competences, team player

• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels

• Knowledge in Battery technology/ development is a huge plus

Integrative, open-minded character with excellent analytical, communication and facilitation skills; strong background in cross-cultural project Management. Coordination skill and project management; motivated by working on new things and fun at work, willing to go the extra mile.
