At our Zhangjiagang site, we are currently looking for a(n) ​Process Chemist​ to be a part of our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Comply with applicable position-related laws, regulations and other requirements, understand and comply with company's EHSS policies, procedures, standards and rules.
- Handle polymerization reaction, some flammable, corrosive or toxic chemicals, and hazard working environment, such as sound pollution in some area. But plant will evaluate all the risk and give fully protection.
- Master technical knowledge and process control concepts transfer globally within company.
- Closely monitor production process, check existed problems and solve them in time.
- Investigate customer quality complaints and make necessary adjustments.
- Responsible for new product introduction process.
- Well involved in plant process hazard analysis.
- Key user of plant SAP system maintaining master data of BOM, receipt etc., and related MAF process.
- Bring up modification scheme to optimize process.
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Responsible for plant IMS implementation in right way, make sure to compliance with Wacker global or GC documentation requirements.
- Process owner for corresponding IMS documented procedure, refer to Annex C of WGC Manual.
- Direct workers engaged in inspection activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products.
- Play active role on quality management teams within organization.
- Design and implement quality and process control training programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor or above, major in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in chemical industry, engaged in quality assurance and process control.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in production supervision, quality assurance or process engineering position in multinational company.
- Knowledge in polymerization process or other related chemical process is preferred.
- Knowledge in SAP, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma is highly preferred.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Offices tools.
- Fluent both oral and written English skill.
- Able to work together with international team, own global mindset.
- Management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A team player.
