Role description:

Mentor & develop the operations team through technical leadership Contribute hands-on in the transformation, development and establishment of DevOps engineering practices within the organization Play a crucial role in contributing to the vision of proactive operations and technical excellence in operations Work in close collaboration with the global and other local DevOps units to streamline, standardize and enhance the DevOps practices and processes With your team, contribute directly to the high availability and operational efficiency of the solutions by pushing continuous improvements in application/infrastructure monitoring Support your team in their pursuit to constantly upskill in application and infrastructure knowledge Provide continuous visibility of the operational efficiency to the management and stakeholders through building and orchestrating automated data collection and dashboards for metrics

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in technical operation roles in complex projects/solutions Good understanding & hands-on experience in:Using popular PaaS/IaaS/SaaS services in either of the public cloud vendors like AWS, Azure, Alibaba cloud or Google CloudSetting up & managing CI/CD toolchain (eg: Gitlab/Jenkins or similar) in large projectsUsing infrastructure-as-code toolchain (eg: AWS Cloud Formation/Terraform/Ansible or similar)Setting up or configuring modern monitoring tools (eg: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana etc.,) Prior experience in working on large scale production systems in operations context Familiarity about agile principles and methodologies Prior experience in software development will be a plus Prior experience in leading team/s will be a plus
