Responsibilities
:1. Customs Compliance Management:
– Familiar with HTS code, especially for new parts declaration elements confirm.
– Closely work & align with Subcons for HTS code.
– Provide Customs advisory support on any internal system development related to Customs and trade.
– Maintain good relationship between Customs and Qorvo.
– Support or provide supports to all projects which are related to Customs operations.
2. Logistics Operations:
1) Familiar with import and export transit process, including forwarder transit process\ customs declaration process.
2) Collecting goods information from internal contact window for declaration elements confirm
3) Provide declaration instruction & documents to broker.
4) Support for LX Handbook must be accuracy (eg: COO issue) because handbook supervised by Customs.
5) Monitor import/export business transit time.
6) To assure Qorvo logistics business compliance to all related National laws / regulations / policies and internal process & procedures.
3. Forwarders Management:
1) Closely work with internal & external teams to highlight, push and resolve any issues timely.
2) Complete Scorecard and perform QBR with forwarders.
4. Review and execute logistics related procedures/WIs, ensure 100% compliance without major finding during internal/external audit. Strictly comply with escalation process for any abnormal.
5. Achieve KPI goals and complete all tasks assigned by manager on time.
6. Actively offer opinions and suggestions on daily work and processes using the concept of continuous improvement. Actively implement process improvement to achieve the department goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or above, Major in Logistics, business administration, international trade or Engineering MBA preferred; Familiar with Logistics internal business & operations and owns good knowledge & relationship on Customs/Business or experience equivalent to that. 6+ years working experience in logistics, 2+ year in managerial position. Proficient in Microsoft office application and SAP application is preferred. Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English, CET-4 or above certificate is preferred.-
