Teledyne Geospatial is recruiting a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager- China region for Optech Lidar Solutions to lead our continued worldwide growth in this product segment.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will focus on achieving and exceeding the global Sales targets (channel sales and direct sales). 

By leveraging relationships with existing customers and channel partners and hiring new customers, you execute strategies to ensure our go to market success.

Using your experience in Airborne Lidar/Remote sensing operations and sales, you will continue to develop a forward-looking sales strategy that blends current strategy with future state structure. You will have a direct responsibility for sales and consolidatean accurate weekly forecast and pipeline report broken down by the major customers. 

The global coverage of our sales team through direct and indirect sales is key to the overall success of the business. You will have increasing our sales of hardware, software, subscriptions, annual maintenance plans.

Responsibilities Include:

Achieve or exceed the direct and channel sales targets for your region

Work directly with the broad sales team and customers to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded

Maintain and present (weekly, monthly, quarterly) an accurate forecast and pipeline by region

Implement a direct and indirect channel program and structure, ensuring program standardization, including distribution to reseller model, channel margins, and KPIs

Key stakeholder in building and executing a long-term regional go-to-market strategy alongside regional sales managers, e-commerce leaders

Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to implement campaigns and programs to maximize pipeline creation and drive deal conversions

Identify and improve the process, efficiency, and productivity of the global go-to-market team

Work with customer success leadership to provide proper Customer Success support for customers and regional partners and a KPI-based program for ensuring customers get proper support during different phases of the lifecycle of a customer. 

Ensure partner contracts are aligned with Teledyne’s business goals while creating a successful outcome for the partner

Collaborate with key functions: product management, finance, and marketing to drive commercial efforts on key business initiatives that develop consistent revenue stream for the entire Optech portfolio.

Actively promote Optech solutions through regular visits to end-users, demos, presentations to end users, government agencies, service providers, integrators, distributors as well as attendance to tradeshows, seminars, and webinars

Travelling to visit customers/partners, attend events is an essential part of the job. It is expected that the role involves travelling 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

5+ year experience as a technical Sales with a proven track record of selling airborne/remote sensing services or related solutions into the Airborne mapping/Utilities/Forestry/Infrastructure market/Construction

Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Civil engineering or Science

Experience in operations of airborne Lidar/photogrammetry/remote sensing systems including flight planning is a plus

Experience managing pipelines and forecasts within a CRM

Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple organizations and functions.

Good knowledge in Point Cloud data workflow with possible experience in data processing.

Talented in writing proposals and presenting on (including public speaking) company products and services, performing system demonstrations.

Bilingual

Team player attitude with strong work ethics

Internationally minded and ready to travel extensively, around 50% of time
