Responsibilities

• Operate plastics processing machines (particularly extruders, injection molding machine, fiber spinning etc.) according to industry standards and ESHA guidelines, to transfer recipes into materials and specimens
• Ensure smooth and safe operation of the machines, conduct proactive trouble-shooting during trials
• Make suggestions to optimize and improve processing conditions, machine maintenance and safety measures.
• Responsibility for maintenance of assigned processing machines and working areas based on 5S and corporate safety standards
• Maximize trial output by working with other engineers from processing pool to run trials as scheduled
• Active communication of processing conditions and observations with supervisors, make trial proposals
• Clear, precise and timely documentation of results in lab system and drafting reports as needed.
• Draft and maintain related SOPs as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years working experience in polymer processing lab or plant.
• In-depth practical experience in operating various types of plastic processing machines.
• Knowledge and experience on operating polymerization or polycondensation plant is a plus.
• Solid ability to communicate in English (oral and written) is needed
