Description

Establish long-term, peer-to-peer scientific relationships with Aesthetic Area Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), relevant researchers/scientists and investigators. Increase awareness and provide training to medical practitioners in Aesthetic fields by enhancing their medical knowledge, clinical practice skills (evaluation, injection, safety management), supporting scientific studies.

Key Responsibilities   

Physician Support & Medical Education: Responsible for supporting and training HCP in the management of medical aesthetic related problems on relevant aging states, analysis of current vs best practices, evaluation and treatment paradigms, and strategies for overcoming barriers to access and optimization of outcomes;

Provide support to physicians interested in or involved in IITs (Investigator Initiated Trials) or Galderma supported phase IV studies;

Provide reactive response to unsolicited customer requests for product information on off-label indications;

Facilitate use of standard prepared responses prepared by Global Medical Affairs to answer requests for medical and product information.

KOL/Trainer development: Responsible for the identification of key customer “worklist”, share and review with Medical Affairs leadership timely;

Responsible for gaining agreement on the key customer “worklist” as well as short and long term goals for focus for identified KOL/Trainer and stakeholders.

Responsible for successful execution of development plan: Engage and develop more than 20 KOLs/Trainers to be advocate/advisor for Galderma;

Support clinical trial and development programs: Identify, develop, maintain and expand communication with key investigators to facilitate appropriate research on pipelines and marketed products

As appropriate, support in the design and development of clinical studies.

Provide internal scientific support: Ensure optimal collaboration across the assigned Medical team with internal customers, partners and other stakeholders.

Implementation of Galderma SOP, GCP and local policies to ensure medical

initiatives to comply to related SOP and regulations: Understanding and acting in line with Galderma legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice;

Inform Local Safety Responsible of safety issues according to Galderma safety SOPs; and provide scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues

Skills & Qualifications   

Master of clinical medicine, bio-pharmaceutical or biotechnology as minimum;

More than 1 year clinical practice, (Plastic) surgeon and dermatologist is preferred;

More than 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or medical device company, with track record of field medical affairs/medical strategies

Has extensive knowledge of aesthetic area and dermatology in clinical practice;

Strategic thinking and flexibility to overcome unfamiliar challenges

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals

Team work and Collaboration: excellent collaboration skills

Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills: can influence without authority and has proven experience building and cultivating relationships with key partners and stakeholders, both internally and externally

Knowledge of data analysis and statistics for understanding clinical study results

Compliance with local laws, regulations and Codes of Practice

Computer literacy (MS office, Google, etc.)

Functional business English required.

Analytical skills

Travel Frequency:> 30%
