Development of seat system and components
Pre-study and analyze concepts, do benchmarking on the markets and create future-oriented concepts to meet trends. Lead seat system and components development for global and China specific features, including concept development and series development with suppliers Lead various development activities in different phases as architecture, specification definition, digital mock-up and validation, simulation, data freeze & release, industrialization, till delivery confirmation.Steering localization projects
Manage the localized parts from design-frozen to part release with handover to series production, including managing technical changes from global RD. Evaluate and verify components function and maturity via local testing matrix and ensure parts readiness. Monitor project timeline, sourcing, tooling & facility readiness. Assist pilot run, tryout and series production at the production plant.Testing
Fulfil requirements of homologation processes and make sure parts can be introduced to Chinese market successfully. Keep tracking of authority (new) requirements. Create component test specification, test matrix, monitor testing processes to ensure the functionality of the product. Evaluate and verify testing results, analyze issues, solve the non-conformities and carry out optimization/concept updates.Engineering Change Management & Documentation
Ensure all engineering changes accurately captured, verified and implemented into production line on time. Maintain, verify and analyze all incoming changes. Maintain the BoM in general. Qualifikationen Education: Bachelor degree or above in automotive engineering relevant majors (e.g. automotive, mechanical); experience abroad is a plus Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language is preferred. Experience: 3+ years working experience in OEMs or Tier 1 seat suppliers (preferable multinational companies) with complete seat development experience, overseas working experience is a plus. Good knowledge of automotive component development & engineering processes: development & release process also digital product development, engineering lifecycle, model confirmation, benchmarking, overall vehicle knowledge, project management, quality management, homologation, vehicle & components testing; Good knowledge in engineering software such as CATIA, NX etc. Excellent skills of development & cross-function project management, good tracking of program timing, process, budget, task execution; Intercultural competence and effective communication skills with various levels and departments; Good teamwork skills; openness to bring people (also external) and ideas together; Self-responsible working attitude and initiative, strong planning and organizational skills BenefitsMitarbeiter EventsFlexible Arbeitszeit möglichHybrides Arbeiten möglichGesundheitsmaßnahmenMobilitätsangeboteMitarbeiterrabatte möglichGute AnbindungCoachingBetriebliche Altersversorgung
