About the team

The Wireless Connectivity team at Roku is a part of a broader Product Engineering team, and is primarily responsible for all things wireless at Roku: including HW, SW and QA. We are a seasoned team of Wireless QA Engineers dedicated to conducting Wireless/Bluetooth tests for Roku streaming products. Our business is fast paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in an ever-changing environment. 


About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our QA group within the Networking team, focusing on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth RvR tests. You will collaborate closely with RF engineers and Software Developers to execute Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tests.

What you will be doing

Lab setups involving usage of RF chamber, shield boxes, RF attenuators, cables, splitters, and signal analyzer. Collaborate closely with RF engineers and Software Developers to execute Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tests. 

We’re excited if you have

5+ years proven experience as a firmware test engineer. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi and BT verification including setting up and driving wireless RvR and co-exist testing in an automated environment. Understanding of Wi-Fi/BT protocol. Experience using shield boxes, attenuators, network analyzers, and other miscellaneous RF equipment/accessories like cables, splitters. Decent experience in scripting and debugging in Python and Shell. Strong problem solving and debugging skills: analyze and investigate test failures, errors, and be able to accurately drive issues to completion. Fluent in both written and verbal English. Understanding of Linux.
