Your responsibilities will be to:

Monitoring and fostering the H&S culture at the company. Provide overall leadership, management and strategic direction to build EH&S Management Programs within the site organization

Manage overall Environment, and Health & Safety in Jiangmen plant, including all ‘usual and traditional’ EH&S aspects related to legal compliance, EH&S Culture, Risk Assessments, ISO certifications, contractor safety, EH&S audits, etc.

Integrate and interface with Jiangmen local medical organization, and Shenzhen site EH&S Organization, as both teams work quite together and share expertise

Integrate and interface with site and regional leadership, on EH&S performance, assuring regular communication and reports of EH&S performance/results for managing and improving EH&S

Lead, develop and implement robust EH&S standards and programs to ensure continuous improvement, 100% legal compliance, and alignment with company’s Global EHS Management System

Our requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s or above, preferably in Health & Safety, Environmental, or any engineering, mechanical, electrical, chemical or environmental engineering or EHS educational background, Post Grad / Specialization on H&S

6 to 10 years’ related EHS experience

Proficient in both English and Chinese

Good communication, interpersonal and project management skills

Good skill in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Words

Ability to work with people at different levels

Resourceful of technical and professional agents in China

Strong experience in EHS, safety/environmental engineering and management field

Provide technical leadership in the management of EH&S related aspects

Implement the company’s EHS management system, ISO14001, ISO45001, support ISO50001, and support the company’s sustainability agenda

Ensure that all accidents are properly investigated, and that lesson learnt are shared across the company

Conduct EHS inspections & audits regularly, and lead the execution of the EHS projects
