As a Senior Technologist, you will design, plan, and deliver experimental projects to enable the delivery of technical objectives for R&D and support scale-up and prototyping activities. Current programs are focussed on development of new PAEK compound and Film products alongside optimisation of existing technologies. As part of the R&D Design team you will support initial technical feasibility assessments on projects. 

In addition, you will evaluate, interpret and communicate results of experimental programs and make recommendations for future work direction in support of project objectives. With responsibility for Safety, Health and Environment standards for laboratories and pilot facilities, you will design experimental procedures to promote safe working practices in line with all relevant internal and external regulations.

The successful candidate will have a degree or higher in chemistry/material science (or a relevant scientific discipline) or will have significant demonstrable experience in a laboratory or polymer processing environment. You will have strong analytical skills with experience of the use of statistical and data management tools in the interpretation of experimental results. Excellent communication and team-working skills are critical to achieve success in this role, together with experience in delivering project outcomes.
