We are looking to hire a Naval Architect to join our team of experts in a dynamic and growing company that is driving the energy transition.

What you will be doing.

The Naval Architect will work as part of a team and perform duties including but not limited to design, review, calculations and analysis for various Naval Architectural elements pertaining to Offshore/Maritime structures. Conduct MWS surveys on site according to ABL standards and Client’s requirements. 

Prepare design analyses, concept and detail, for various fixed / floating offshore structures in accordance with international codes and standards Assessing motion / stability of offshore/marine structures Ensure projects meet client requirements and classification rules and regulations Responsible for deliverables to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs, HSE and in accordance with the quality standards established by ABL and/or the Client Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required. Ensure all deliverables is carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures. MWS surveys on site according to ABL standards Other duties as assigned Primarily office based but requirement for onsite and offshore attendance and time with clients

What we are looking for.

Degree qualification in Naval Architecture or equivalent Bachelor’s degree At least 5 years professional experience and relevant expertise with offshore fixed and mobile structures Familiar with industry standards and codes and the ability to apply standards to structural analysis & designs  Spatial awareness with the ability to demonstrate skilled knowledge in analyzing technical solutions Working knowledge of engineering principles and practices Working knowledge of basic principles of design, systems design and installation, mathematics Ability to select and apply standard guides, methods, and techniques Computer literate with practical experience in Structural Analysis of marine and/or offshore structures.  Good interpersonal skills, a strong team player with a proactive approach, Strong verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy, and the ability to prioritize work Well organized and self-directed, proactive and insightful Results orientated and client focused
