Job Description Conducting regular EHS training sessions for employees to raise awareness, impart knowledge, and ensure the proper use of safety equipment and procedures. Conducting regular audits and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards, assess compliance with safety measures, and ensure proper recordkeeping. Investigating any incidents or accidents that occur, determining their root causes, and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Communicating EHS matters effectively with internal stakeholders (such as employees and management) and external stakeholders (such as regulatory agencies and the public). Preparing regular reports on the organization's EHS performance, including compliance status, accident rates, and improvements achieved. Monitoring industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS management.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as safety engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline. Significant experience includes experience in implementing and managing EHS programs, conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies and procedures, and leading teams. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They must be able to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and identify and address EHS issues. Good understanding of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards. This includes knowledge of local, national, and international laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific standards and best practices.5. Work closely with other departments, such as value streams, engineering, and HR.
