Description

Job Purpose.

Assist E Engineer in the design, installation, operation management, maintenance and procurement to ensure that the electrical equipment is in good work status.

Required Duties Or Accountabilities.

1. Review and approve all electrical engineering drawings and specification sheets prepared by Project Engineers and engineering firms.

2. Execution and control of E equipment within his assigned plant area

3. Order to operate HV switchgear and supervise electrician for operating HV equipment.

4. Ensuring HES compliance of all activities within his assigned plant area

5. Participant in the procurement of electrical equipment, visiting electrical equipment manufacturers.

6. Periodic to check running status in safely and review Electrical operation Status Report, ensure electrical equipments in safety operation .

7. Maintaining E workshop ensuring the ability to support Production in all areas of E Maintenance.

8. Make the plan of electrical equipment overhaul and routine maintenance and permit work on HV devices.

9. Minimize production downtime in case of malfunction by organizing person to handle in time.

10. Take a lead role in problem solving electrical issues and recommending improvements to the E-Engineer.

11. Develop and deliver electrical training packages for Electricians and other staff.

12. Directly Managing technicians in Maintenance Works.

Job Requirements. (Knowledge, Skills, Experience, etc.)

1. College or University Degree in Electric Distribution and Automation with at least five years of progressive maintenance experience in a chemical facility.

2. Practical knowledge of electrical maintenance practices in chemical plant and HV operation in power system commensurate with experience.

3. Have HV and LV professional certification for operating E-equipment.

4. Have communications and coordination skills at an operational level as required

5. Able to implement practical procedures within a production maintenance environment at a senior level.

6. Ability to speak fluent Mandarin, good English an advantage.
