Server Engineer

Responsibilities

Complete the server-side code development of features on time and work with Client SEs to conduct co-tuning to ensure the quality of the delivered code.

Maintain the server-side code of existing features to ensure its robustness.

Help resolve server technical issues of moderate (and above) complexity.

Collaborate with team members, POs, DDs to accomplish daily tasks as scheduled.

Qualifications

At least 2 years' experience in game server development

Proficiency in at least one of Java or C++

Knowledge of common networking protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, HTTP and Websocket)

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL or Postgres), and in-memory data structure store (e.g. Redis)

Knowledge of container and serverless technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience in development for the Linux platform

Experience in version control software such as Perforce and Git

Excellent debugging capabilities
