Sourcing Manager (m/f)

Reporting to APAC VP SCM you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals across the purchasing functions currently totalling approx. 6 to ensure we successfully manage all the critical material aspects for Wuhu factory in the right place at the right time at the right cost.

Working location: Wuhu, Anhui, P.R.China

Main responsibilities:

Involve in establish key performance indicators and drive performance measurement for procurement function Responsible for implement procurement best practice and seek opportunities to improve leverage to achieve competitive advantage for Kelvion Wuhu Leading Sourcing team to participate cross functional teams to manage the development of category sourcing strategies and associated initiatives and agree the strategy with VP SC APAC and internal customer departments Implement and deliver strategy to generate benefits and achieve financial saving targets with following Sourcing activities: Analyze category current spend and supply base to explore any saving and improvement opportunities; Mapping relevant stakeholders, have them fully engaged and support from the beginning of project process; Analyze supply market to identify potential suppliers and understand the market trends and supply availability; Identify internal and external cost drivers in the categories; Development benchmarking and identify saving targets; Preparations of pre tender and tender documents in conjunction with key internal departments; Using leading procurement tools ( BA , M1-M5 ) to develop and implant sourcing strategies

- Project planning and timeline management Lead the negotiation and completion of contract ensure that service, quality , total cost ,assurance of supply Effectively manage both international and external stakeholders relationship to achieve best value On going manage supplier performance and be aware of market trends change, keep internal supplier informed and involved Updating spend cube and maximize the use of spend cube data by identifying best practice and leveraging spend within Kelvion Wuhu Manage the team performance to meet the functional KPIs and develop action plan for improvements Manage internal customer satisfaction index and develop action plan for improvements Manage supplier performance evaluation and conduct timely appraisal and audit Manage and review sourcing engineer ’s individual development plan and performance evaluation Provide any other necessary support to VP SC 

To be successful in this highly business critical but ultimately rewarding opportunity you will:

At least 8 years experience of procurement management or project management , plus engineering background , be familiar with welding/machining Great previous experience with responsibility for delivery of sourcing strategies and benefits Demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing Experience of leading or participating a cross functional project team Experience of using project tools including timeline and project planning management You have successfully completed a university degree or have an equivalent academic degree in the field of engineering, economics or business administration Motivated individual who is capable of handling a demanding portfolio of activity, showing energy, creativity and flexibility in responding to the needs of this dynamic and challenging area of work Has the ability to work in a team, and across-teams, and to develop and manage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Good analytic skills Good negotiating and influencing skills Great experience of strategic sourcing and category management skills Good language ability in both spoken and written English Good communication, networking and personal management skills
