Within the assigned commodity driving the supplier development tasks (L4) for Passive Safety systems, across all BUs (IRS, SBS, Inflators, SWS) in any region. Responsible for new supplier approvals, supplier assessment & performance, technical reviews (as part of sourcing process) and APQP tracking till PPAP release(Supp. Readiness). Executing strategic, tactical and operational SDE tasks in collaboration with Div R MM, product lines and cross-functions as SQA to guarantee external supplier Quality Collaboration with cross-functions CP, PP, SQA, Quality, PM, Engineering, Controlling, PLs, etc. Tasks verify the suitability of new suppliers; and lead the approval process of new components, this includes leading PSTR as mandatory part of sourcing, definition & tracking of APQP elements, decision about PPAP release. Drive supplier developments, troubleshooting and Escalations. Achieve KPI’s for OTP, SLP C. Ratio, PPM, C. Ratio & other KPI’s assigned by management. Your Profile
Experience in Quality and Eng. with excellent technical background. Expert in Automotive Quality tools, Six Sigma methodology, GD&T, VDA & AIAG standards specially for APQP tracking & PPAP approvals. Certified auditor. Robust network within Div. R, comprehensive collaboration and link between different functions Key Competencies Strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent computer skills i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Maturity and responsibility Willingness to work under pressure. Education Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering/mechanics Language Proficiency in both oral and written English, native level in Thai. Japanese and Chinese will be preferred. Experience: At least 6 years' experience in multinational company, with strong sales experience, preferred in Automotive background.
