Who you are:

A Mission of a Team Manager is to spend 50% of the time in work environment (Gemba)

Drive the team to meet the committed operational targets and to continuously improve the process.

Support the team when hand overs are necessary to other teams within the organization and limit the conflicts between departments.

Secure the team’s competence and performance development on a personal level at the same time developing adequate succession plan for key positions. 

About the job:

Manager for Team Members and Team Leaders As process owner be responsible for:safety + HSEquality + Q-systemdeliverycost As owner secure the quality, via audit dialogues, and execution of the SOP’s By own presence drive performance of the team and employees Be responsible for own cost account, Drive performance meetings, improvement meetings and related activities Be a link between the production and other support functions for daily issues Control of quality, deviations, manage the cycle count and yearly stock taking to make sure its correctness, Provide the team with relevant information Set and follow up targets for the team and each employee, broken down from unit level Perform audits according to ALPS Warehouse location, space and facility utilization, implement 5S management Purchase the goods used by warehouse itself and shipping packages

What you know:

Relevant education, either BSc degree in a relevant field of study or 5+years of relevant experience

Further requirements: ALPS Basic training, Green Belt training, SOP audit training, Train the Trainer, Leadership for new managers (provided by Alfa Laval)

Skills: Preferred ERP experience. Fluent in written and spoken English. Leadership skills. Preferred lean background.

Attitude: Team player and Structured. Sense of urgency with a customer focus. Willingness to learn. Able to challenge and motivate teams. Being able and willing to resolve conflicts. Lead by example (shadow of the leader)
