Ring and Blink are looking for a Factory Operation Program Manager to lead CMs projects conceiving and developing the next generation of safety and security products in the Smart Lighting, Solar and Sensor space. Key job responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing operational readiness and project management, leveraging resources, ongoing efficiency, and improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Short- and long-term capacity planning and execution with Contract Manufacturer (CM) factories.
- Secure the appropriate levels of capacity base on quarterly and weekly forecasts and horizons.
- Lead regular meetings to communicate plans with cross-functional operations and demand planning.
- Set up and maintain a product fulfillment capacity database for CM and key components/modules.
- Monitor CM production, supply, and fulfillment status, work with CM partners to ensure performance targets for quality, on time delivery and throughput are met or exceeded from ramp to EOL.
- Anticipate production and operational risks, and communicate and mitigate those risks.
- Excel in manufacturing process and drive efficiency improvement through various tools(such as: SPC,DFM,MSA,etc)
- Work closely with CMs to manage line bring-ups, qualification, material availability, and quality issues.
- Manage the engineering and manufacturing change phase while considering whole operation impact on cost, delivery, and quality.
- Provide timely issue resolutions and critical path management as needed.
- Optimize for cost savings, high quality, and greater operational flexibility.
- Handle issues management during production and delivery.
- Manage forecast and inventory to balance costs and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvements of CM operation performance.

You will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting lighting and sensing products for our Neighbors.
The team is a multidisciplinary group of product managers and engineers engaged in a fast-paced mission to deliver new
products. The team faces a challenging task of balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements. You should be
comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions,
while demonstrating leadership and technical competence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
