Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science (in partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon and RDFZ Beijing) is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Secondary Computer Science to join our world-class learning community for an August 2025 start. 

The Teacher of Secondary Computer Science should be ambitious for the pupils' learning and put their pupils first in everything that they do. Teachers should actively promote the School's Mission and Vision through their enthusiastic and full participation in school life through academic, pastoral care, co-curriculum & competition and participation areas.

About the school

HDSAS represents a new standard of bilingual education in China. Location
The school is located on an idyllic lakeside site in the Yuhang District of Hangzhou, surrounded by beautiful scenery including tea fields and bamboo forests. Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province, an important city in China, and recognised for its history, prosperity, and beautiful natural scenery. It is also recognised as a hub for the development of education and technology in China. Yuhang District, which has experienced significant growth and development, is home to the technology giant Alibaba and more than 10,000 high-tech businesses, hotels, shops, and restaurants.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject related field; Master’s degree preferred;

  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in related subject.

  • PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)

  • Demonstrated interest in student development and optimism for students’ ability to learn and grow

  • Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies

  • Interest in and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Ability to collaborate, establish rapport and communicate in a Dual Language Immersion environment
