Job Description

Conduct PTU mechanical integration based on system architecture following Bosch engineering process, including but not limited to component sizing, piping, harness layout, packaging design. Work together with cross functional team on building up PTU system Design Instruction, Guidelines and Release Criteria.
• Support BU & Customer Team in accordance with TS goals to achieve business plan. Develop, quote technical solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with system team, manufacturing, quality, service, logistics etc. Follow Bosch process to prepare engineering documents such as: Compliance matrix, Customer drawing, TCD, DFMEA, testing sheet, test report etc. on time and with high quality.
• Conduct technical discussion on component level with supplier, support purchasing on supplier sourcing & release from engineering perspective, following Bosch process.
• Define engineering requirement for different variant of samples and follow up sample status. Lead engineering risk assessment activities. Assist in collection and analysis of information concerning testing results or failure, find out root cause and define proper countermeasures.
• Series support for components and products technical issues for manufacturing, or quality issues or field complaints. Following Bosch process/methodology to provide engineering analysis.
• Provide RPP/DtC ideas and make sure their implementation.
• Provide technical insight and market view out of benchmarking activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor/master’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering or related major, with knowledge of refrigerant system is preferred.
• At least 5 years’ working experience in vehicle component industry, understand thermal management system and related components, especially in refrigerant system. With flexible thermal unit design and industrialization experience is preferred.
• Experience in refrigerant heat exchangers, understand how to sizing of these component.
• Experience in refrigerant sealing technology, understand different engineering solutions of sealing technology and able to choose proper solution according to specific requirement.
• Experience in metal material engineering, with Aluminum-Alloy and its die-casting process is preferred.
• Understand engineering analysis methodology, for example D-FMEA, DRBFM, problem solving, etc. Logic thinking is a must.
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with people from different regions in English, both in verbal and in written.
• Skilled in 3D model and 2D drawing creation, experience in UG is preferred.
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications and SAP
• Willing to take responsibility, strong self-motivation and teamwork spirit, fast learner, willing to continuous improvement, able to work under high pressure, out of box thinking.
