Wall Street English is well established among English learners in China, and is seen as a trustworthy path to success. We are looking for energetic and experienced teachers to join us in teaching English in China and continuing our success as a high quality language school. As of 2018, Wall Street English China has over 70 centers across 11 cities:

Shanghai Suzhou Hangzhou Nanjing Wuxi Beijing Tianjin Qingdao Guangzhou Shenzhen Foshan

Globally, WSE has been operating under the name of Wall Street Institute, the School of English. WSI currently has approximately 450 franchised learning centers in 27 territories across Europe and Asia. In China, all centers are operated directly to ensure consistent, quality services for every student

Teachers work 2 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 6 pm on weekends. Six of these hours are in-class. In a given week, there are 35 working hours (30 teaching hours / 5 office hours)

Teachers get two consecutive days off, as Saturday and Sunday are peak hours these days are offered during the week. Teachers also get all national public holidays off (approx. 11) and 10 vacation days per year. If a holiday falls on your weekend, you are given one extra vacation day in its place.

Teaching Materials

Wall Street Institute and Wall Street English (China) are owned by Pearson Group. Established in 1724, Pearson Group is the global leader in the publication and delivery of English language learning content. All Wall Street courses throughout the world utilize Pearson Group learning materials. English Teaching Job Requirements in China:

Native English speaker Bachelor’s degree 120 hour TEFL / TESOL or CELTA certificate 24 months ESL teaching experience except for Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen city Suzhou and Wuxi require 2 years teaching experience and a TEFL certificate (any hour) Clean criminal record 12 month commitment Compensation Package Monthly salary:
Package A :
(21 teaching hours + 4 office hours)
11,200 to 14,000 RMB

Package B:
(30 teaching hours + 5 office hours)

16,000 to 18,000 RMB monthly salary 3,000 city allowance 3,500 to 7,000 RMB contract completion bonus 5,000 RMB flight reimbursement  3,000 RMB contract renewal bonus Up to 10 days hotel stay provided upon arrival 11 Chinese national holidays + 10 paid leave days 90% medical insurance provided Z visa and work permit costs are covered Up to 5,000 RMB towards visa agent fees Up to 6,300 RMB quarantine reimbursement for overseas candidates Free Chinese lessons for beginners Career development opportunities
