JOB DESCRIPTION

·Develop commodity strategies, conduct strategic sourcing, and drive strategic actions for defined sub commodities within Adient APAC.

·Meet or exceed profit plan goals related to commodities, including cost savings, economics, quality, supplier rationalization, working capital improvements and other key metrics.

·Maintain and update weekly cost saving roadmaps with monthly reconciliation to actual results.

·Lead Clean Sheet (CS) activities in coordination with costing and engineering to drive a competitive advantage.

·Improve the program profitability through continuous improvement, VA/VE activities and global sourcing.

·Ensure the cost, quality and time-oriented supply of all Adient plants with the required products in line with the respective business plans, budgets, targets and strategies.

·Leverage of purchases across all business units and global programs.

·Support of proper Make vs Buy decisions.
