We are looking for a Science Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

 

About the school

Bilingual school based in Shenzhen’s Nanshan district. It is the first K9 bilingual IB School established by an education group headquartered in Hong Kong. The school integrates two independent yet complementary educational philosophies. It offers immersive bilingual education - one teacher, one language. All students will be taught by two class teachers, one specializing in Mandarin Chinese and the other in English.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subjects of physics, mathematics or biology to middle school students utilizing the IB MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments      
  • Collaborate with fellow co-teachers to enhance and refine the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Any other related duties assigned by the school

Requirements

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree
  • Past teaching experience in the relevant subject
  • Willingness or demonstrated track record in learning and practicing new pedagogy

  • Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
