Purpose

In order to implement the quality assurance and achieve the company's quality objectives, in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001 quality management system, the continuous quality improvement and enhance the quality management are to meet the business growing needs.

Areas of responsibility

IDENTIFICATION

Responsible for customer complaints, include manufacture and trading products. Drive customer satisfaction related activity to reduce the customer quality complaints. Responsible for improvement of first time pass rate, According to ISO9001 system requirement, Drive the quality improvement activity, improve the product first time pass rate. Support new product development and third party certificate. Responsible for customer/ certification authority audit. Drive the internal quality improvement related activity according to customer to achieve the customer satisfaction requirement and improvement. QA system control and improvement QC procedure management to ensure product quality control for customer

Responsible for key issue about customer compliant

INNOVATION

Drive continuous improvement for quality related issues / processes; by evaluating and developing improved techniques for the control of the quality and reliability of the products. Drive continuous improvement for customer satisfaction; by improve internal management procedure and manage quality related issues with customers Fully developing & implementing a Supplier Quality control system and organization. Manage quality related issues with suppliers (in line with the corresponding internal Departments

ORGANIZATION AND HR

Motivated team with innovative organization across all segments and geographical areas. Implement performance evaluation and development plan for the team members. Keep the team members fully abreast of any development within the business and Nexans organization.

OTHERS

Obtain relevant information on Industry standard/product standard/ISO 9001/regulation. Analyze the new requirement and ensure it has been updated and implemented. Plan & control quality budget. Control quality related expenses including QA asset, Certification fee, third-party commercial test fee. Calibration fee, equipment maintenance fee

Required skills and qualifications

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality required. Advanced degree a plus 5 years in similar quality; At least 3 years of experience in cable manufacturing industries; Must be experienced in managing people, including shop floor level inspectors as well as professional quality engineers; Must have a demonstrated career history of assuming increased job responsibilities and a record of successes against measured targets; Highly level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others;

Specific knowledge

Be trained in ISO9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Gage R & R, Error proofing, metrology, problem solving and corrective action; Strong leadership skill & Ownership, Work as an expert to support the Operation team and drive the changes and provide the solutions to ensure product quality. Has the clear logic, critical thinking, independent thinking and problem solving skills. Various gage usage. Well know documents and records regulations; 8D, Six sigma problem solving tools; Good oral and written communication skills in English Computer: Familiarity with SPC/DMS related software. Good communication and inter-personal skills.
