Global lead for a Commodity Strategy within the Engineering Services team (called Service Family Strategy) for topics like Cyber Security, Software, Mechanical, etc. Single point of contact for a ZF division to meet with key stakeholder(s) on demands for external engineering resources. Conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment to strategy and figures against internal strategy. Act as Supplier Champion for assigned set of suppliers on commercial negotiations and overall relationship topics handling bundling of resources, Savings, LTAs, Innovation, Intellectual Property, Quality, Performance and Footprint topics, etc. Synchronize with purchasing colleagues to ensure alignment on cross-team synergies for different services (regions, suppliers, functional roles) Direct activities with operations buyers to ensure supplier bundling is implemented over a project-by-project approach. Manage assigned supply base and develop cost-saving methods and opportunities in order to promote overall business unit productivity and supplier competitiveness for defined function with in Non-Production Material r (i.e. through Value Add /Value Engineering methods, quoting, independent negotiations, resourcing, etc.); Carry out negotiations as lead contact for defined suppliers; Analyze supply base to prepare and recommend suppliers to be added/removed from the approved supplier list as well as nominate suppliers for the Strategic Supplier List by collaborating with Engineering Service Teams ; Develop and maintain Part Family Strategy (PFS) based on global targets and requirements and with Data Analyst skills to turn data into information, to insight and to decisions; Define and negotiate purchasing contracts, production, Development and Warranty Agreements, in addition to other contracts and legal documentation working with legal and Intellectual property teams.
