Overall purpose of job Responsible in ensuring compliance to Regulatory requirements, Quality and Food Safety for BLC Food Solutions, S&I Lecithin, inter-company business in China; Focusing on reinforcing compliance, capabilities building in Regulatory Affairs as one function. Work closely with Asia QFS Team, Global Regulatory Team, internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities Main Task/ Key Accountability
Responsible for compliance with regulatory and standards requirements at site, local market requirements in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Translates and interpret food safety regulations and standards GB standards) into applicable measures and action plans within scope (as a reference point) Represents BLC and participates actively in external regulatory network Be the liaison in government agencies (local FDA) engagement on behalf of BLC China Support commercial team in providing advice on right to market status based on regulatory requirements Perform Regulatory monitoring/ scanning and assess regulatory changes and relevant impacts on existing products/projects and communicate to stakeholders in prompt and clear manner Label review responsibility, ensuring compliance to labelling regulatory requirements Support TP (Trial Proposal) for new product/ change product to ensure the product, ingredients and process comply with regulations Secure registration of licenses production licenses) in timely manner Working closely with the stakeholders in communicating, conduct risk assessment and provide recommendation in mitigating risks based on relevant regulations Collaborate and interact with cross functional project team as needed Crisis Management: Participates and translates key learnings within Bunge to China with mitigation planRequirements:
1Education:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in science background, preferably in food science/ technology2Experience:
Preferably 5-7 years of working experience in food industry3Desired Qualities/SkillsGood in time management and able to work in fast-paced working environment
