工作职责

  • 利用IGCSE和A-Level课程框架，为中学学生教授化学课程，确保学生获得引人入胜、丰富多彩的学习体验
  • 备课、讲课、辅导技巧、设计和修正评估、撰写报告评语
  • 与其他老师合作授课，积极促进学校课程的发展和完善
  • 评估和监测学生的进步，并提供目标，使所有学生都能取得成功和进步
  • 向学生及其家长和监护人提供清晰和建设性的反馈意见
  • 营造支持性和安全的学习环境

We are looking for a Bilingual Chemistry Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in February 2025.

Located in Minhang District, this bilingual boarding school for children aged 6-18 merges the Chinese national curriculum with the International Baccalaureate. Its university-style campus offers education in Mandarin and English, integrating Chinese and international teaching methods. Job responsibilities

  • Teach chemistry subjects to students in secondary education utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

  • 具有教师资格，3-5 年教学经验
  • 能够教授一到两个科学科目
  • 愿意教授 3-4 个年级的课程
  • 熟悉世界一流的科学课程（包括英国和国际课程）及其评估方法
  • 熟练掌握通过差异化教学和多样化学习策略满足个人需求的方法
  • 中英文流利

  • Qualified Teacher status with 3-5 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to teach one or two science subjects
  • Willingness to teach across 3-4 grade levels
  • Knowledge of world-class science curriculums, including UK and International, and their assessment methods
  • Proficiency in addressing individual needs through differentiated instruction and diverse learning strategies
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
