Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Overall Responsibilities
*Handle the day-to-day color approval process of bulk lab-dips, and bulk material:
-To review and approve bulk lab-dip color in accordance with Centric Brands Color SOP and/or requirements set forth by customers.
-For rejected submissions, provide specific comments and/or technical advice to suppliers for improvement.
-To review and approve bulk lots and trim cards based on approved bulk lab-dips.
-Perform color readings using our Spectrophoto machine for the WM-LDE and SBE tests, and upload or check the results.
-Help vendors track bulk material delivery on time
-Assist the PD team in reviewing the DDS information, which includes the material name, color, and VN/FN numbers.
-To maintain and file all lab-dip submission records both physically and electronically.
-To maintain periodic maintenance and calibration documentation of all color related equipment
*Fabric Merchandising:
-Maintain data information as the demands from NY, fabric suppliers and local teams
-Have the ability or potential of approve fabric bulk colour & quality after short period of training.
-Ability to monitoring fabric delivery on time & solve problems
-Proactive with good communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure and independently
*Other tasks assigned by line manager

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Additional Requirements
*Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Chemistry or Technology
*At least 5 years+ of industrial working experience in the textile industry, preferable in a color assessment capacity in a laboratory or dyeing factory
*Must pass color blindness test and the Munsell 100 test
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel, PPT, MS Team
