Art Teacher

We are looking for an Art Teacher for an international school in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of art to upper primary school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students
• Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve
• Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities program and participate in school activities such as assemblies, festivals, conferences

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject related field; Master’s degree preferred
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in related subject
• Teaching license such as PGCE or equivalent
• Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies
