We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school located in Tianjin. This is a full-time position starting in February 2024.

 

About the school

This international school is stationed in the city of Tianjin and emanates a vibrant and jovial atmosphere. The campus is modern and contains Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, and Middle-High School. The international curriculum is based on inquiry and education is provided with modern approaches. Students are exposed to a bilingual environment and acquire the capacity to address real-life problems.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching of IGCSE/A-LEVEL science subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  • Organize research and training for science teachers in international secondary schools
  • Teach some of the bilingual science courses in the secondary section
  • Organize extracurricular activities for students and provide professional guidance to students
  • Provide regular teacher management
  • Developing teaching plans and curricula
  • Perform other teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the school

Requirements

  • Graduate degree or above, majoring in mathematics, science and chemistry, physics preferred
  • CET-6 or above in English, able to teach in English independently, Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Overseas study background or working experience is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant teaching and management experience

  • Monthly salary of 22,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifcations
