We are looking for a Librarian Teacher for an International School based in Xian. This is a full-time position starting from August 2025.
About the school
Xian has been home to this international school since 2003 and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement library programs that support the school's curriculum
- Assist students with research and information literacy skills, ensuring they are equipped to find and utilize various resources
- Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloging materials and managing circulation
- Promote reading and literacy through events, activities, and collaborations with teachers
- Provide instruction on digital literacy, including the use of online databases and research tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 2 years related teaching experiences or above
- Current teaching certification or bachelor degree in education
- A good understanding of the IB MYP and DP
- Excellent English communication skills

- Monthly salary of 28,000 to 37,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
