Head of External Manufacturing

We are currently looking for the External Manufacturing Head to join Nexperia. This leadership role encompasses overseeing the entire external manufacturing ecosystem, including Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) and Foundry management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for efficient and effective collaboration with external partners, managing subcon and foundry sourcing activities, and driving excellence in strategic supplier management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the overarching strategy for external manufacturing to align with Nexperia's business goals and objectives. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the external manufacturing network. Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of OSAT and Foundry operations, Sourcing management. Collaborate with external partners to optimize production processes, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with Nexperia's standards and objectives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external manufacturing partners, fostering collaboration and innovation. Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure a resilient and responsive external manufacturing network. Drive operational excellence initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align external manufacturing activities with Nexperia's broader business strategy.

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES
Hard Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or above in semiconductors, electronics, or related More than 10 years experiences, among at least 5 years Proven strong multinational leadership experiences in a senior role within semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on external manufacturing, OSAT, and Foundry. Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, technologies or commercial management.  Demonstrated experiences in managing subcons, foundries, and strategic suppliers. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to align external manufacturing strategies with overall business objectives. Results-oriented, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Multiple local and cross border business trips are required
