The school curriculum is organized into the Primary School, grades K-5, the Middle School, grades 6-8, and High School, grades 9-12. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Female Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, and the ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds. The PE Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive physical education curriculum that meets the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging PE lesson plans that align with the schools curriculum and educational standards.
  • Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their physical education goals.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports programs, including intramural and interscholastic competitions.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring the proper use and care of PE equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support students' overall development and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education and health.
  • Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages students to develop lifelong healthy habits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or license in Physical Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
