Trim-Part & Test-Engineer

Integration in cross-functional team which forms an interface between German headquarter of research and development, local and international suppliers and the JV BBAC with a combined task of being a trim-part and testin engineer.
Trim-Parts engineer focus:
China specific development with focus on innovation, new matarial and sustainability for trim parts with the local/international suppliers Responsible for interior trim part technical information maintain and update, project coordination and timeline tracking to reflect MB and BBAC requirement. Lead and coordinate activity for development, innovation and sustainability with MGs/BBAC/ PP/suppliers. Responsible for engineering change information transfer and implementation Window person to RD Germany and suppliers, technical support to BBAC Ensure component functional tests will be conducted according to the MB specification, evaluate the results and give release recommendation Component Certification and homologation must fulfil the Chinese market and regulation requirementsTesting Engineer focus:
Ensure that Mercedes-Benz passenger car products fulfill entirely the required standards regarding long-term quality and endurance for Chinese environment, driving- and street-conditions; Ensure the component function testing activities are conducted according to the component function specifications and project timeline; Evaluation of each release in accordance to given project plans and pre-defined releases in regard to completeness and accuracy of the implemented features; Documentation, analysis of defects in cooperation with development departments and suppliersThis combined task within trim-part engineer and testing engineer gives you a great chance to experience and build up crossfunctional knowledge and relationship within our Mercedes-Benz platform.
Qualifikationeno Education
• University degree in mechanical or automotive engineering
o Experience
• Graduates with first experience in automotive industry (e.g. internships) as well as applicants with minimum 2-3 years work experience at OEMs or suppliers
• Experience on Interior Trim Part development & production, innovation and sustainability know-how are benifical
o Specific Knowledge
• Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial
• Computer skills mandatory, including Windows, Office, CAD (NX is preferred)
• Self-responsible working attitude and initiative
• Intercultural competence and communication skills with cross gunction groups
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• High commitment for automobiles
• Excellence skills of cross function project management, timeline, planning, process, task execution and tracking;
• Ability to multi-task projects that require immediate response;
• Experience in laboratory management, familiar with ISO standard, experience in laboratory audits;
• Engineering mindset, team spirit, proactive, self-motivated, integrity, openness, curiosity, and creativity;
• Good office IT skills are mandatory, such as Microsoft Window, Office, Outlook, and Excel…;
• General understanding of Engineering software (e.g. Auto CAD, NX, and SAP);
• Willingness to travel China domestic and oversea, prepare to work on-site with suppliers;
