We are looking for a Middle School English Teacher for an international school based in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. This is a full-time position starting from the August 2024 academic year.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of English to middle school students utilizing the IGCSE framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related Humanities field; Master's preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Cambridge English curriculum
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a Dual Language Immersion setting
