About the role

- It's an interesting and challenging job overseeing finance and accounting work for a production site in China.
- Overseeing the factory day to day operations and reporting in compliance with Kerry accounting standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the statutory requirement including tax, audit, and any other corporate governance.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the factory day to day operations and reporting in compliance with Kerry accounting standards and procedures.
- Preparation of plant finance statement and management report, including monitoring of achievement of financial performance vs budget, reviewing relevant financial performance indicators and working to drive root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with the statutory requirement including tax, audit, and any other corporate governance.
- Oversee Capital expenditure control, proper custody and optimum utilization of factory fixed assets for cost management and physical assets accountability.
- Support to arrange and review the cycle count of inventory.
- Coach team members to fulfil their job with high quality within deadline.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit.
- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
- Travel frequency 50%
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance.
- Plant experience is must, sound knowledge of cost accounting with at least 5 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts in manufacturing industry and playing a role as team leader.
- Ability to liaise with other functions and departments for finance and cost related matters.
- Be proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.
- Familiar with UFIDA or Kingdee, SAP experience is a plus.
- Skillful in MS Office especially Excel.
- Trustworthy, honest, reliable and responsible, strong self-motivation and energy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment.
