Siemens Taxes provides policy guidelines, technical support and technical supervision for the member companies on daily tax work, and make tax review on a regular basis. We have dedicated tax teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Nanjing. We strengthen communication with regional tax departments through Siemens Global Tax Management Network and learn advanced experience of tax administration from other countries. We also attach importance to exchanging experience with tax authorities and tax counterparts, and actively participate in seminars/workshops organized by external professional organizations to improve our expertise.

For our TAX team, we are looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to help us drive Siemens TAX initiatives within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You'll make an impact by

  • Performing tax governance role regarding designated Siemens enterprise’s tax risk control and optimizing tax control/handling process.

  • Determining significant tax return filing positions and signing off tax filings of designated Siemens enterprise.

  • Preparing TP documentation and conducting corresponding interviews with designated Siemens enterprise.

  • Providing tax consultation to business daily operation/business model/process optimization/tax incentive application, etc.

  • Cooperating with various Siemens departments/functions for tax planning and problem solving, including tax audit, business operation establishment, etc.

  • Lobbying for preferential tax treatment/tax positions clarifications/TP/tax audit defense.

  • Providing tax trainings related to tax positions, treatment, and management.

Your defining qualities

  • CPA/CTA or other accounting/tax qualification preferred.

  • Sufficient knowledge and experience in the area of tax compliance, tax consultation and tax accounting.

  • Proficient in written/spoken English and Chinese.

  • 3-5 years either in big 4 or MNCs, tax department.

  • Bachelor or above. Major in Tax/Finance preferred.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and dedicated.

  • Good communication and coordination ability.

  • Good Team player & quick learner.
