We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Finance Manager, Financial Accounting - FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING.

Principal responsibilities
  • Work with WFOE leadership team and drive financial performance;
  • Lead the finance team to perform financial activities including Accounting, Reporting and tax filing;
  • Complete local and group financial returns;
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulation and complete local tax returns;
  • Operate in framework of financial governance and control;
  • Support China Corporate Services 'mega projects' financial matters.
Risks & Controls:
  • Maintain defined operations Risk framework, establish and run a strong quality control framework for outputs and activities;
  • Ability to meet deliverables time lines;
  • Adherence to Group policies, IFRS reporting requirements, audit, controls and compliance requirements. This also includes and is not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy;
  • Well documented location strategy and ensure seamless processes amongst teams;
  • Responsible for timely update and maintenance of RCAs, BIAs, PLAs and ensuring all other documents like the SOPs are in place and updated;
  • Robust back up planning for uninterrupted service delivery.
Customer/ Stakeholder:
  • Drive the WFOE Finance team performance to agreed service levels in a professional manner;
  • Establish and maintain effective relationship with business areas and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism;
  • Manage / Support in Country relationship effectively;
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work in an efficient manner.

  • Effective communication with Team on decided organisation changes and goals;
  • Achieve efficiency in operations and maintain work-life balance. Effectively drive change and achieve cross-training;
  • Drive and maintain performance in team to required standards;
  • Maintain high level of employee engagement;
  • Create an environment within the team which fosters free sharing of knowledge and ideas;
  • Develop the soft skills and technical competency by putting enrolling into trainings.
Requirements
  • A university degree in accounting or business related major;
  • Recognised Professional accounting qualification;
  • Experience in Financial systems end to end process, from transaction capture to external reporting;
  • Overall post qualification experience of not less than 8 years, with proven track record in Financial or Corporate institutions a plus;
  • Mobility an advantage;
  • Experience of working with colleagues and stakeholders in a global organization;
  • Strong written & spoken English communication skill for effective escalation.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
