Your Role:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers post-machine delivery to oversee the erection and commissioning process until handover.
  • Forecast working hours for erection and commissioning tasks.
  • Engage with customers to confirm site conditions and commencement time for erection and commissioning.
  • Coordinate handover meetings and prepare necessary data before the engineer's departure.
  • Collaborate with other departments or companies for additional support when needed.
  • Monitor project progress and provide feedback to the operations supervisor as required.
  • If contracted working hours are exceeded, liaise with the customer to approve additional charges and inform the AM sales team.
  • Upon completion of erection or commissioning, verify 'job progress' in CMS to ensure all essential documents are submitted.
  • Facilitate close-out meetings and follow up on punch list items until all issues are resolved.
  • Summarize site-related issues and provide feedback to relevant departments.

Requirements to Succeed:

  • Experience: Over 2 years of experience in a multinational or exporting machinery company, focusing on package engineering, order handling, project management, and/or field service.
  • Knowledge: Thorough technical understanding of machine design, packaging, quality inspection, and operational procedures for customized machines, preferably in integrally geared centrifugal compressors.
    • Additional knowledge in thermodynamics and rotor dynamics is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency is a bonus.
  • Educational Background: A university degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Personal Traits: Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
    • Self-motivated and proactive.
    • Openness to travel.
