Role Responsibilities:

Role Purpose:

Developing and deploying state-of-the-art modeling tools and model-based development workflow that are used by CCS' global engineering centers for Carrier's air-conditioning and refrigeration component and system design Developing sales tools for global business units

Minimum Requirements:

BS degree in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning, power Engineering, fluid machinery or engineering mechanics with 3+ year experience. MS degree in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning, power Engineering, fluid machinery or engineering mechanics with 2+ year experience. PhD degree in in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning, power Engineering, fluid machinery or engineering mechanics. Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, calculus and numerical analysis Modeling experience of thermal fluid systems. Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, Fortran or similar languages. Engineering experience in design or application of HVAC/R or Power plant equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate across functions. Fluent English and excellent communication skills in a global team is required.
