Senior Research Scientist

We are now looking for a Senior Research Scientist for our Shanghai R&D Center. You will work with teammate for new product development (polymer and sizing). You will together with global R&D and APAC manufacture teams to scale up and commercialize new products to support business needs.
Kemira R&D and Technology is a critical enabler within Kemira, securing organic growth and further differentiation in the market through co-creation and innovation with our customers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Develop new polymer products or new catalysts for organic reaction Generate new ideas to broaden Kemira products portfolio Complete lab experiment independently and efficiently Collaborate with Global R&D sister team scientists on new products development Support APAC manufacturing sites process upgradesWhat you'll bring to the team:
PhD/MSc degree in organic chemistry & polymer chemistry from an accredited college/university Over 5 years of experience in chemical industrial Rich knowledge in molecular design Strong hands on experimental skill in laboratory Demonstrated advanced knowledge of wet chemistry analysis or instrument analysis Able to effectively communicate scientific results both orally and in written reports demonstrated by external publications. Is capable of working well in a team environment. Fluent in both oral and written EnglishWhat you can expect from us:
