Position Overview

Apply now for the role of Logistics Manager in Shanghai, China where you will oversee the entire supply chain, managing warehousing, distribution, and import/export operations. Your responsibilities will include sample management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with China entities' AEO certification.

Responsibilities
  • Manage warehousing, distribution, and import/export operations while staying compliant with regulations.
  • Lead and supervise the logistics team in their daily tasks.
  • Handle logistics vendor management, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor Logistics KPIs, analyze data for performance assessment, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Set goals for the Logistics team, foster career development, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Take charge of CCIR, DC Alert, SCAR processes and lead logistics cost analysis and enhancements.
  • Produce monthly reports on inventory, delivery, and costs, and update ISO/SOP/procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, and import/export operations.
  • Previous work experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations, including hazardous materials handling and customs regulations.
  • Familiarity with AEO certification, Free Trade Agreement eligibility, and requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
  • APICS certification would be advantageous.
