Responsibilities:

  • Product design (3D/2D) with CATIA V5/DMA-GS in alignment with project and client specifications.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to Alstom design standards and meet Q-checker criteria.
  • Deliver EBOM package for projects, including drawings and DTR parts, to facilitate industrialization and procurement.
  • Conduct FEA calculations.
  • Actively contribute to new mechanical developments (R&D).
  • Provide support to Project Engineering Manager regarding product mechanical interface and technical inquiries during Design Meetings.
  • Address mechanical design issues from suppliers, projects, or industrial teams to ensure efficient production.
  • Lead and propose solutions for problem-solving and product enhancements.
  • Implement product improvements across all projects.

Performance Measurement:

  • 100% compliance with EHS and E&C policies.
  • Meet QCD commitments (1st time quality rate > 90%, On-time delivery = 100% ...).
  • Resolution of pending issues, configuration management of deliverables.
  • Ensuring adherence to EHS rules, compliance with EHS policy and AZDP.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical design or related engineering discipline.

Experiences:

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
  • Experience with sheet metal design and processes.
  • Previous experience in the railway industry. Knowledge of Traction Systems is a plus.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, accountability, self-motivation, and a desire for continuous learning.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Solid understanding of office software.
  • Proficient in CAD Software CATIA V5.
  • Familiarity with FEA software, preferably Hyperworks.
