The Corporate Salesperson Role
  • Sell separate account services or finance products directly to corporate clients
  • Assist the team in servicing clients in securities, derivatives, FX, and commodities transactions
  • Support the team's strategy across specific product lines
  • Contribute to achieving market and wallet share goals for the client franchise
  • Originate and execute significant transactions
  • Collaborate with business units to drive strategic growth and market share
  • Continuously develop knowledge of the business, marketplace, and clients
  • Partner with key functions to ensure proper product deployment
  • Promote collaboration with internal partners to enhance client relationships
  • Analyze clients' businesses and exposures to provide tailored sales solutions
  • Facilitate discussions with clients under guidance
  • Implement strong governance and control measures
  • Collaborate with control functions to ensure proper governance and control infrastructure
  • Promote responsible finance, good governance, and ethical practices
  • Assess risk/reward of transactions and uphold the firm's reputation
  • Adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and global regulations
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Math
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with a track record of relationship-building
  • Strong business origination and relationship development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Education:
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
