Team Introduction

We are looking for proactive security experts to bolster our efforts in safeguarding workloads during the transition from VM-based to Container-based deployments. As a member of the SAP Successfactors' Application security team in Shanghai, CN, you will play a vital role in enhancing security measures through automation, embedding container security controls, and utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Role Overview

Be part of a dynamic cross-functional team dedicated to designing secure architecture and development practices within SAP Successfactors' BISO organization. Implement Security-as-Code principles, automate security protocols in the CI/CD pipeline, and proactively address security incidents. Collaborate closely with product development teams, perform security validations, and champion best DevSecOps practices.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Experience in secure software development lifecycle implementation and preventing OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of securing containerized workloads and policy enforcement strategies
  • Familiarity with SAST tools like Protecode, Trendmicro, and JFrog Xray
  • Ability to liaise with global teams and participate in meetings across different time zones
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and microservices
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Groovy, Python, or Go
  • Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in developing commercial products
  • Minimum 7 years of cloud product application-level security experience
  • Experience in incident response for containerized workloads and cloud architectures
  • Preferably hold certifications in CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist)

Location: SAP Shanghai Labs (On-site presence required at least 3 days per week)
