Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact for business stakeholders in assigned areas of responsibilities. Provide coaching and support to operational leaders in meeting their responsibilities under the SHE program;
  • Complete frequent program assessments and data analytics to evaluate the performance of the SHE programs. Perform legal and regulatory assessments using in-house tools. Establish and ensure completion of corrective actions, to address areas requiring improvement. Escalate concerns through management as appropriate;
  • Provide clear and concise SHE performance reports to operational leaders that are actionable and support implementation of SHE programs;
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to local leadership and facilities management to drive consistency into the implementation of SHE programs across our office network;
  • Ensure completion of all regulatory submissions and notifications required to maintain compliance with country, and company SHE requirements and that adequate records are maintained to demonstrate compliance with SHE programs;
  • Develop and implement approaches to protect the safety of employees and to continuously reduce SHE events. Ensure proper investigation of SHE events through the root cause and establish the required preventative measures;
  • Partner with Fleet Management Service Providers, Human Resources and Country Leadership to ensure compliance with our Global Driver (Fleet) Safety program.
  • Assist with the office/remote worker ergonomic program;
  • Develop and implement country-specific injury prevention campaigns based on trending analysis, may work with the companies Worker Compensation team;
  • Complete office visits and compliance assessments as needed;
  • Develop safety campaigns, partner with in-country Leadership, HR and Communication teams to develop and implement effective communication strategy, including information for SHE related events, to office occupants and field sales personnel, using available communication tools.
  • Occasionally, join an audit team to evaluate new warehouse(s) or 3rd party supplier locations.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Minimum 3 years of applied professional EHS work experience;
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to present information clearly and concisely through all levels of an organization;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to quickly adjust to changing situations.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Safety or Environmental related technical discipline;
  • Experience with fleet and office safety;
